If you have to deliver something to a physical address, we have a mailbox at the Ink Spot Mailbox Store at 189 E Nelson Ave, Wasilla.  Hand the envelope to the clerk, marked “box 250” or “Hoff Property”. 

 

How To Rent

 

Apply for any of my properties by clicking here - The application costs money ($35 for the first adult) and there are no refunds, so please call me first! 

 

If you have some credit or criminal record issues, please call me.

 

IMPORTANT: I have to rent properties according to the owners’ directives and there are no such thing as “dibs”.  It is imperative that you contact me immediately before paying for your application--like 5 minutes before.  You should also be clear on what the particular owner requires in that particular property, and your ‘approvability’.  I don’t hold properties and I don’t call interested persons to tell them their place is about to get rented from under them.  Your only guarantee is to check first, apply, be approved, then without delay, sign and return the lease and pay the deposit.  I will allow reasonable time and do my best to make it go smooth and logical.

 

We manage (not own) about 60 rental units and we can get busy at times.  Please bear with me, but do not hesitate to call again if you don’t get a timely enough response.

Hoff Property Management opened for business January 1, 2000 and we are now headquartered in Wasilla, AK. We also manage properties in Palmer,  Big Lake, Eagle River & Anchorage. We have had many hard years of experience in the business--since 1989. It is our mission to provide quality comprehensive management as a means of efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

 

The Hoff Property Management goal is to excel above all other management companies by providing a series of improvements that owners have asked for: Property Management comes first, not sales. We are an exclusive property management company. Although we are a licensed real estate brokerage--our specialty is management of residential properties. Should you seek to sell while we are managing your property, we will offer to refer you at a savings or work with your realtor.

This type of advertising has proven to be extremely helpful because many renters are moving from out-of-town. We have an extremely low vacancy rate and we screen and select quality tenants. Holly Hoff, Broker, has an accumulated 24 years of experience in managing various types of property: condominium association management, apartment complexes, single family homes, subsidized multifamily housing such as AHFC, HUD, Section 8, Tax Credit and Farmer's Home housing, and mobile home parks. Holly has held a real estate license since 1996 and began as a full-time property manager. She has held a real estate broker license since 1/1/00. Holly also has background in paralegal and psychology.

 

Jim Hoff, Property Manager, has had 18 years in property management and building maintenance experience, also working as on on-site manager of subsidized housing and managing a mobile home park. He was has been a supervisor for the State of Alaska where he held a Public Management Certificate and supervised a staff of four to five employees for twelve years. He holds a real estate license and is a Certified Manager of Maintenance and also an expert on boilers and furnaces.

 

We are long-term Alaska residents who understand the marketplace and are aware of the difficulties that come from owning property in Alaska where maintenance costs are high.
